Amy will be remembered for her genuine kindness, unwavering compassion, and the warmth she brought to every interaction. Whether working with clients or supporting her coworkers, she always led with her heart and made a lasting impact on those around her. | Stephanie King, the NARCOG Wellness Coordinator, has launched an exciting new health initiative called Walk With Ease. Developed by the Arthritis Foundation, this program is designed to promote physical activity while providing participants with valuable tools for self-management. Classes are held every Tuesday and Thursday at 10:30 a.m.. Thanks to a partnership with Decatur Parks and Recreation, sessions take place at the Turner-Surles Community Center Auditorium. | Lawrence County Awarded $290,000 ARC Grant |
| Lawrence County has been awarded a $290,000 Appalachian Regional Commission (ARC) grant to support critical upgrades at the Mallard Fox West Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP), with a total project cost of $580,000.
